Getting used to "different" CDs

How long does it take you usually to get used to a CD you just bought that is different from what you usually listen to? It usually takes me three or four listens through to really get used to a new CD. I just bought this CD called "Mirror Conspiracy" by Thievery Corporation, and it sounds really cool, but it's so different from what I'm used to, so it's taking some time to get used to completely...

Thievery Corporation are goodness.

Usually by the third listen I begin to get really into the concept, and continue to really grasp it until I do - then enjoy the grasping until I exhaust it - from then, I'll put it on the shelf to be picked up whenever I feel like enjoying something familiar that is different to whatever I'm used to at the time.

Alot less than it takes for me to get used to an "identical" cd.
