Ah... yeah... you're quite right with some of the artists you mention.
I think I confuse myself because I have a MOS Hard NRG album which I actually love - it's not pretentious, it doesn't try to be something it's not, and it's got BASS (and yes, melody) and it's FUN!
So I'm not really sure if it's hard trance or hard NRG or NRG or hard house that is relentless and gives me a headache??
(though Alphazone did it quite successfully when I saw them last year).
Don't mind a bit of SHOKK or Kai Tracid either... |

there is nothing wrong with fast powerful energetic dance music. maybe i am not thinking of hard trance but rather hardstyle, hard dance, hardcore, hard nrg or some other "hard" thing. the music djs were playing in the phd and pharmacy rooms at digital was not energetic or powerful, but it was fast. it was also bland and relied on a pounding beat which was almost enough to hurt. the music brings clubbing and the dance scene into disrepute. sometimes you have to wonder if people need to be on abusing substances to enjoy it. when you look around at 1pm and see people completely ed up then you are probably right! |

TO A CERTAIN EXTENT, I BELIEVE SOME OF THE CROWD MAKE IT LOOK DISREPUTABLE! I MYSELF ABSOLUTLEY HATE WITH A PASSION MUNTED GWHORES ABUSING THEMSELVES, FALLING OVER, ETC & PEOPLE LOOKING LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE & ELMO BAGS & TALCUM POWDER AND BUSTED FACES WITH MISSING PARTS OF THEIR FACES/BODIES.
SOME OF THE MUSIC CAN BE YES. I AGREE. HOWEVER SOME OF IT IS GOOD IMO! THE HARDER STLE OF MUSIC THAT I LIKE ISNT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED NOR WHINGING PUSSIES! HOWEVER ITS THE ONLY STYLE THAT GETS ME THE MOST EXCITED. LOL. BUT REALLY THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN OFTEN AS THE HARD SCENE IN MELB ISNT BIG AT ALL AND MOST DJS PLAY HARD MUSIC.
