When you pass out, you are kicked out. It doesnt matter that your ride is kicked out too. |

It was really great to see so many of you...lots of people I haven't seen since Ultra Spin! Fahad, Drew, John, KaiLee, Dannie - I LOVE gettin' freakay with ya!! Haha...so many people. It was really great to meet a lot of new faces as well. Funkygroove, DJSketchbag, Marina...many people. I guess there were a bunch of others there too that I didn't get to meet :( Oh well...next time
Two crappy things that happened last night:
1. My camera broke. I have no idea what happened, but some how the LCD screen cracked. It was near the beginning of the night too and I started crying. Especially due to the fact that A) my camera is my life and B) I literally am so broke I don't have any money to buy a new one, let alone get it fixed. I'll give you a call later though Aaron...hopefully you'll be able to help me out. Thanks :)
2. I threw up in the bathroom...security heard me and was going to kick me out. I got it together though and looked sober enough to talk the guy into maybe letting me stay. I told him that all of you guys were there and I drove up from Windsor to see my boyfriend, but I wasn't feeling well...so he takes me into the hip hop room and says "I'll cut you a deal..." All of a sudden a huge fight breaks out in front of us and he runs over and grabs a guy and pushes him onto the pool table, then takes him outside. So I'm left standing there. I waited awhile to see if he would come back...just b/c if he did and I had left, if he found me he'd probably kick me out. But if I stayed he would see that I'm acting responsibly. He never came back...so I went back into the PR. But then Dan got kicked out...and we had to leave! Haha Oh well...thank you stupid hip-hop jerks for saving my butt. I saw 3 fights in 1 night...haha leave it to the hip-hoppers
Anyway...As per usual the beats were amazing, and the TAs just made the night...so even with my camera disaster (and getting kicked out, but let back in), TOTA will always cheer me up!
P.S. Dennis THANK YOU for waiting until I got there to play Talk...I absolutly LOVE that track. Me and you have the exact same taste! Hehe |
I'm so sorry to hear about your camera, babe. Don't worry too much about it for now, though.

Well I wasn't there...and I've never been security, so you would know the rules better than I would.

I can kinda see what they're saying. Like I don't see the problem in people failing asleep either as long as they're not hurting anybody...which they're not b/c they're sleeping! Haha But I guess it's just policy, or what tink says...illegal. I got kicked out of a bar in Windsor before by a Windsor police officer b/c I was falling asleep. Actually Dan was there too! I'm sure they have a reason.
And yes...the person driving would have to leave the bar too. Technically they don't HAVE to...but usually being a good friend...they would. Which is why me and my crew left. I guess it wouldn't really be fair to have a law saying which bars can and can't kick people out due to if there was transportation around.
I don't know how we found out, but I think security actually told us that Dan got kicked out. Or let some of his friends know. It's better than how it is at some bars. Like at System...they would kick you out, and if you're friends don't know...too bad...and if you're puking and unconcious in the alley...they don't care. |

OK to put this simply,
You bring somebody to the bar, they are YOUR responsibility. If they get drunk and pass out and get kicked out, it becomes your problem.
Im sorry it happened, but since everybody had an opinion about it before i got there, there was nothing i could do to change securitys mind. :sadgreen: |

Being a girl and all, Id prefer to be kicked out and sent home. Id never want to be passed out in ANY club/bar. No matter how close an eye your friends are keeping on you, anything can happen.
I enjoy surviving all my weekends. |

That's not necessarily true. There's no law stating that. Most people just leave with the person who got kicked out b/c 99.9% of the time people don't just take random people to the bar, they take their FRIENDS whom they CARE about, so if they get kicked out then you WANT to leave.
I've seen many a situation where people get kicked out of bars and the people they came with don't leave.
You must be living in a small world if you think this is the case. |

Well if you brought him to the bar and promised him you would drive him home, and he happens to get kicked out, than it is your problem.
And yes i usually only party with friends who i care about. Its a personal choice if you leave or not. |

Sorry about the kicking out situation guys. I was already tired even before hitting the club (another reason I almost didnt go to proom, cause i've been messed all week), then dancing, and drinks, it was obvious what would happen if I sat down lol. Thanks for trying to reason with the bouncers for me haha, your all wicked friends. 3 bouncers escorted me out, as if I would do anything! One of the guys arms weighs more than my entire body haha!
Other than that though, fun night for sure, even with being tired, still had some energy for abit lol. Great to see everyone! I didnt even know I met cosmopolitan until now! I just went up to some girl and said "your very festive, I like your ear rings!" haha! little did I know who it was! big props to everyone that came up from T.O. and such places! |

Exactly why we CHOOSE to leave.
And Dan...don't worry about it...it happens to the best of us. Not to mention it's not like it happened at 11pm...we still had a solid night...Good times...I'm really glad you decided to come :)
P.S. Thanks for completely taking off Dan...Cale and I were walking all over the parking lot looking for you...we thought you had gotten in a random person's car or fallen down that really steep (sp?) hill by the upper parking lot where the gate has fallen. I thought you were dead! |
