I don't mean to dampen anyone's spirits, especially those going to see PVD at Ultra next week but I found out that his grandfather died and I only find it fair that we pass our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
This is what was said from the official site:
We are very sorry to announce that Paul van Dyk has to cancel the show tonight in Dublin - please find his personal statement below:
Dear all, due to a bereavement in my family i am unable to travel to Dublin today.I hope that everyone can understand that I want and need to be with my family in this moment.My team will try to arrange a new gig in Dublin as soon as possible, a city I felt always welcome and where I always love to play.Thank you for your understanding at this time and i wish you a wonderful night! Just think of the story behind The Other Side. Remember, when you lose someone that you love, that person isn't gone. They will always be in your heart and you know that they've gone to a place where they do the things they enjoy most 24/7. You will always love that person and they will always love you in spirit.
