| Speaking of chocolate covered bananas. I make them at home sometimes. I tried making it on a stick, but it's actually easier on a plate. It's super simple too. I just cut bananas in half, put them on a plate and DOUSE them in chocolate pudding, then add peanuts. Stick them in the freezer for afew hours and you're good to go! |

I'm cranking the AC. the humidity down here is killing me! and it's not even April yet! That just reminded me, I left the living room window open which probably explains the rapid increase in humidity inside. I think today was about 89 degrees or so (32ish C)in the middle of the afternoon, it's still about 28 right now. I haven't worn long pants since I got here. I could really go for a nice vacation back to Toronto for some crisp air and a good chill. I hate walking outside and sweating instantly. meh I guess its all relative. The locals here think it's freezing, but starting to warm up. I thought it was nice for the first two weeks but I could not live here permanently. I know I should be happy with the weather here but you don't miss what you had until its gone.
I have so many nice long pants, hoodies, other sweaters and jackets that I could never wear here. I'm going to miss hoodie season! :( Hoodie season is my favorite... it also comes nicely leading into mating season.
I love hearing the first ice cream man go by and seeing the kids run out. There is no first time of the season for that here. It happens all year round. |
