Where's the rest? I loved this song. It felt like you were building up to something....then it just ends. More please. Edit: Unless you are keeping the rest to yourself for copyright reasons...
You had some really cool effects in there...
Edit: I'm still new to making music myself so I tend to miss things in reviews I do for others. I do agree that another kick drum should be used - something a little looser in my opinion. |

yo mate,
nice tune, very much better than your last one imo.
most things i have to say were already mentoined.
kick and bassline together remembers me a bit of the pvd stuff. sounds great and very driving indeed.
anyway, the kick could be a bit deeper, the release on the bassline is a little bit to long imo.
i like the melody that fades in during the break. realy has some potential imo.
keep on working.
cheers, nik. |

0.50 ...Love the liquidy drips panning around. they sound great.
As mentioned already, the kick is killer.
1:20 Great first impressions so far. nice long release acidy mids.
1:50 bass is warm. I like the high horror movie squill pads.
2:30 Nice use of left/right space on the mid synth.
3.00 the break doesnt have much momentum imo. Maybe add some more fx or pads. Not sure what to suggest, but it doesnt build up...
3:22 pretty nice groovy pattern change. the frequencies are a bit harsh.
3:55 the bass sounds out of tune.
Impressive work Dj Kane. I enjoyed it.
Grab the psy/tech/experimental alliance sig if you like. I'm definitely adding you to that alliance after listening to this great tunezerz. :p |

update - the kick has a big punch! nice kick!
percs are nice. not too generic. i like your background noises you have going on.. like the single note flute sound...
structure - the build is nice. the bass is great! really driving!
break- i can here m.i.k.e influences here:) really spacey.
kick comes back - this is quite psy sounding. i love the original notation. - single bassnote clashes with it... your gonna have to follow that melody with the bass..... and use some of your driving percs during this point. the ones you used at the build..
also id say introduce that main melody very subtly during the break.
great stuff! you are progressing very well:)

the track is on my myspace page. its not the finshed version though. the breakdown needs to be much neater, making a lot of changes to that and the outro needs fixing. although i need people to tell me whether its got a good sound to it.
cheers
