what up guys
I like to approach people (strangers) with "hey what up".
they give me this strange look like "wtf do i know you". that i can understand, but the whole point of such a casual greeting (as if ive known them for years) is to break em in instantly, loosen them up. cant they accept that instead of get defensive as if im about to attack them or soemthing?? my ideal response would be the "hey what's up" meaning "hi how can i help you". do they not realize "what up" is implying hi, as opposed to "what's up" which implies "hi what are you doing, how are you doing etc"
note: i only use this method with younger people.
do any of you guys do this/get the same reaction from others? any comments? :nervous:
im on crack |

i dont even consider "what up" street slang. if you dont live under a rock, you should know what it means.
ppl are robots these days. you say something out of the ordinary of the "hi excuse me", they freak out and go blank. by ppl, i mean retail sales reps. |

"hi sir, how you doing today" = "I'm on commission you degenerate , now buy something or go away." |

don't worry it's not just you, some people just don't like being approached by strangers at a party...that say "whats up". Yes, as odd as that sounds.
I personally approach anybody who seems interesting to me. :gsmile: |
