| this is probably one of the biggest anomaly complaints of ghosts. people have been complaining about ghosts and hearing things such as that and ANYTHING that has to do with screaches anc scratching on things. there have been complaints of nail like scratching on metal and such. its really scary stuff but your complaint doesnt sound farfetched at all...theres this wierd website something like anomalies.org or whatever and it has to do with all this , how people had OBE"s with drugs and stuff and how they can do it manually whenever they want and tons of supernatural things. |

hmm ..
when i first moved to this city i was renting the ground floow of a town house in a really dodgy area. At the back of the house was a graveyard. So if you opened the back door in the kitchen you would be stepping out right into the graveyard. When you're doing your cooking and looking out of the window you would be staring at a couple of gravestones around 10 or 20 feet away.
At first me and my mates didn't think much of it. I mean the place was safe as far as cops were concerned. The neighbours werent fussy and it was really near the monorail stations. Add to that we didn't give a thought about ghosts or spirits.
We stayed there for 1 year. I remember the 2nd day staying there, we were all chilling in the bare house, with no furniture or anything. The only thing in the living room was a discman and a pair of pc speakers hooked up to the wall socket. We were smoking a couple of j's when suddenly the cd player starts to play. We're like...wtf ? no one touched the damn thing. Even the switch wasn't on. We dismissed it as a d up power outlet.
Over the course of the way alot of weird happened. We started getting dreams of someone standing beside the bed talking to you. Now all my housemates had that dream occur to them. We only found this out recently 1 year after moving out of the house.
Other weird happened. Dead animals popping up in the house. With no idea how they got in. Windows were closed, the doors were locked but sometimes we would come home and see a cat dead in the living room. I mean the birds i can understand, the rats and squirrels ok. But a in cAT ? how the hell can something that big get into the house ? prolly some explanation tothat though.
we had our tv fall over in the middle of the night. flower pots breaking. A huge mirror which we put at a 45 degree angle against the wall just keel over and small while we were having dinner. Weird weird .
Anyways got my ass out of there after awhile. The last guy to leave woke up with a dead bird in his room. and his room has no windows.
i met up with my old housemates recently and we all agreed that house has some really bad vibes we each thought it was only us. |

I REALLY shouldn't be reading this thread right before I go to bed.. but I remembered a time when I was sitting in my room in this townhouse we used to live in when I was about 12.
I was in my room with a friend of mine watching TV (yes, at one time I used to watch TV,) and a coat that was on the middle of the bed, suddenly slid right off. Neither one of us could figure out how in all the world's physics and logic, the coat could have slid off.
As if that didn't creep us both out enough, shortly afterward, the channel on the TV changed to some random channel. Neither one of us had a clicker, or was near the TV or a clicker.
We both freaked out at that point.
We went down into the living room, and we decided to sleep on the couch. Sitting there talking about girly stuff and giggling, both of us suddenly went completely silent. I looked at her and asked "Why did you stop talking?" and she replied "I felt really weird all of a sudden." Both of us had felt something either enter the room, or a shift in the energy, so much so that we both stopped talking because we had been startled.
Oh, and I had a cat that used to jump at the corner of the room all the time. There was nothing there, he would just jump up the wall like he was trying to get something on the ceiling. :nervous: |

As far as i know human beings are the biggest ghosts so why worry? ... next time there is a sound ask em to STFU and goto sleep else if you have the balls check out your room/wardrobe etc i.e. where the spooky sound comes from till you are satisfied ... |

the only thing i've ever experienced kinda like that is that i was at my friend's house in 6th grade in his room and the tv all of a sudden turned on.. we both freaked and ran out..
even though that could maybe be explained by something, i still believe. about a week after my great-grandma passed away my mom said that she appeared by her bed one night and told her that she was okay. i could've dismissed that as a dream, but the same day mom told us that my aunt (mom's sis) called my mom and told her that my great-grandma appeared to her the night before.
so, i definitely believe in the paranormal.. i wish i could experience it a little more.
and come to think of it, my cat also stares at random areas in the house sometimes. only recently did my dad tell us that our house is built on a site where a house burned down and the old man that lived there was killed in the fire. |

This image is believed to be the ghost of Jane Churn, a young girl who had burned down this same structure in 1677. The Wem Town Hall was still in this building at the time this photograph was taken.
This photo was taken aboard the HMS Daedalus in 1919 . The photo, was a group photo of the ships crew. The face which appears over the shoulder of one of the sailors is that of Air Mechanic Freddy Jackson. Reportedly, Jackson had been killed while working on an aircraft two days prior to this picture being taken. |
