hype? other than it being a big budget film there wasnt an insane amount of hype. Hype in this case came from the majority of people who on various levels enjoyed the film.
Regardless of the HEAVY socio-political content, I thought the film was actually quite entertaining, engaging and enjoyable. If nothing else something has to be said for a big budget film that never allows the viewer to see beyond the mask.
Personally I thought the film was quite daring, the entire film had a pace that kept me on several occaisions and in several differant mindstates VERY engaged.
generally conservative types did not like the movie and its message however they cloud it with claims that creativly the movie was lacking on several differant levels....
one of the better films out this year. |
