| I got a question. A nymphomaniac is a woman with excessive sexual desire but what is the equivalent word for a man? Or is this word based on the double standard that its OK for a man to be sexually promiscuous but not a woman? I know of a guy who I think is a nymphomaniac but I need a word for him but women seem to have monopoly on this vocab (ie nymphomaniac, whore, slut...). Are there any words out there for men acting this way? |

All men are like that by default. So, the answer is "average male".
Edit:
Damnit, Nou. Steal my thunder, will you. |

doesn't sound quite as sexy as "nymphomaniac"... |

Chauvinist has nothing to do with gender. |
