Moby @ Avalon. Ironically, even though I am Avalon's photographer, URB kicked me off stage when Moby was on to let the crappy ones swarm him. Which is why I had to shoot from the side.

How Sweet It Is. Ladies Take Control (LTC) in the Drum 'n Bass room, then Donald Glaude and Garth in the main one.

The DnB room was the most packed room, but the lighting was icky. VERY list up on the stage, but no lights at all for the crowd...so no crowd shots sadly.

The Main room was better, but after Donald Glaude left, tons of people cleared out for the DnB room so I had to try my hardest to make it look packed. Rukes magic :)

Do you happen to have Jason's E-mail? I tried searching the KCRW site for it.

Pretty much all "retro" stuff, so early 90's classics from him, Underworld, etc...

His own review was the only one that I've read. It's on his site, which by most standards isn't really a review at all.

hi,
i just finished dj'ing at the avalon here in l.a for urb's 15th anniversary party.
and on wednesday i dj'ed in nyc for urb's 15th anniversary party.
how bi-coastal of me.
now it's 2:30 a.m in l.a
5:30 a.m in nyc
10:30 a.m in uk.
etc.
and
etc.
i love dj'ing with my old rave records. f.u.n.
if in any way i'm a good dj it's purely due to the fact that i only dj for fun.
is it really so late?
it's amazing that urb has been around for 15 years.
congratulations, urb.
bedtime now.
g'night.
