start cubase first.
Reason last
they're automatically linked/synced
All you need to do is enable the sound input of reasonin cubase. |

impossible.
And the other way around it actually comes down to the same thing. |

Why does it squash the sound from reason when i rewire and audio mixdown... it sounds as if the sequenced aspects in cubase are perfect yet reason sounds horrible, but when i finalize a track in reason it sounds great??? |

Reason is routed directly to the Cubase SX mixer, so the level is probably lowered a bit. Also make sure that the audio isn't clipping. |

cubase can't be a slave to reason
myko - in your cubase mixer make tracks for all your reason devices e.g. 1 for your drums, 1 for your percs, 1 for your malstrom etc. this will mean you can play with the different levels as if you created the sounds in cubase.
hope this helps! |
