Best of 2006 for me and probably one of the biggest music experiences of my life!!!

Thank you to Prodigy and to the people that got them here to the T-dot!!

I loved the opening DJ. He had a very calm style, and was doing a perfect job of warming up the crowd. The sound was turned way down for his performance, and the highs were just too quiet. I think he also had some technical issues, because i saw him tweak some stuff sometimes, and i could see him just say 'no' because it wasnt working the way he wanted it to.

Freeland came on and instantly the sound was right. I guess they had turned down the volume for the opener. Free land was pretty good, and did a really good job of catering to the rock crowd. Lots of rock remixes, none of which i would even dare to try and ID. Dude had one messy mop of hair!

PRODIGY!!!!!!!

WOW. Awesome. Intense. Freaky. Perfect.

I like when outside sound guys come in and do the sound, because the balance was very very good. No matter where you stood, the bass was clear and true, and was in good proportion to the highs.

Their actual performance? I dont even know what to write. I was just so into it, I couldnt really analyze it. Awesome tracks, great transitions, and they really got the crowd hyped. When they went off stage like 60% of the way through, I knew they were coming back on because they didnt play Smack my Bitch up. They came back, played it, and that was enough. Great crowd, great peformance, great night.

PS - Liam, who was the opening DJ? I thought he did a fantastic job. You had mentioned that he was even better than the Stanton Warriors last weekend!? The guy was wearing a CBC SHIRT! Too cool.

I try, I try :D

I think the crazyness of the Smack my bitch up videos really lends itself to the momment. If people werent going nuts before, they went BONKERS when they played that. I loved how calm it got when they were building, and then, BOOM.

The mosh pit during Voodoo people was great! I knew i had to try and get it.
