First off, let me say I'm sorry for puting up almost EVERY mix of mine! Lemme explain before you jump all over my back please.
I have a similar thread in the Western Canada Forums,

The time has expired on my thread, and I am no longer allowed to edit my original post, where I update all my mixes and the links to download them from.
I've refferred to this thread for the past 8 months in my sig, and now that I can't edit my "original" post anymore, all the links are DEAD. And this is the only way I can still give people access to them! So please, I'm not looking to give anyone a hard time about not listening or commenting on my mixes.. I just need this thread as a referral for my sig, you can just let it pass to the next page without a post, it won't matter to me. Afterall this is the appropriate forum for this sorta thing anyway. Mods! If you do decide to delete this thread, can you please PM telling me why. Thanks. |

HEy man, decided to check this out, i remeber back when you first started these i checked one or two out...
Im listening to session 11, and the mixing is for the most part good, nice tracks in there but the order seems a bit out of rythem in some spots imo
Whats up with the sound quality though? Sounds like you had your mixer redlining the whole time (maybe turn down the master a hair???)... The mix could be so much better if the osund quality was there, 256kbs wont help you without it! |

Hey dude, haven't seen you around in a while! Anyway, I think it's the volume on the Minidisc player was at max when I recorded it. I'll try and work something out in soundforge to make it sound better. :)
And ya, Vol 10 & 11 don't really have tooo much flow to them. But my Fourtwentysession mixes are more for the tracks I like rather than a perfect mix. Both volumes are just the newest tunes I picked up, and since I don't have decks anymore, I had to take advantage of the time I had on them. It was only like the 3rd or 4th time I heard each track in full, it was a bit difficult finding a flow with just the new ones I picked up. I tried my best. I do it for everyone's lisening joy, not as a self promo tool ;) :D |

The sound quality is kinda messed on Vol 10, Vol 11 is ok though... and freakin awesome man! You can really feel what you're feeling in your mixes. Such passion. Keep em coming! PS, you're mixing has gotten ALOT better too ;) not that it was bad, lol, the proof is in the mixes :)
How's Australia treating you?

Austrlaia's goin great man! Meeting tons of awesome peeps and really getting involved in the scene here. Going to see PVD tonight and finally got a gig coming up in a few weeks. Just took a little longer than I expected, but whatever, the trance down here is quite good. 100x better than in Vancouver! |
