I was just looking through some of my cds, and I really do enjoy looking at the album art. It gives you another perspective on the artist.
Album art of DJ mix compilations is usually pretty boring, and minimalistic. Usually just consists of credits and a few funky pics.
The booklets that come with the Global Underground cds are great, because they actually give you nice little story about the events and city.
So where do you fall? |

| I love reading the thank yous and the credits and love seeing how an artist or band chooses to make that initial visual impression. |

| some artists are very creative when it comes to album art/design. one peticular group, Tosca, are my personal favourites.... and to be honest, i purchase all of their albums. the music is always quality, but they are also amazing at coming up with unique packaging and ideas with all of their releases. |

Definitely love album art, especially with psytrance albums; they tend to be kinda scary but they're creative as hell.
Mmm.. Infected Mushroom |

| As with anything... I can appreciate "good" art... whether it's paint on canvas, music pressed on a record, or a cover of an album... |

Yeah the credits are interesting, especially when they thank other artists. It gives you perspective on who they thought was influencial. |

Exactly. For example I came accross work by Craig LaRotunda through my job and really enjoy his style.

I love the Album Art from all of the Hed Kandi compilations (SOOOO CLASSY....Jason Brooks is really talented) and from ATB's albums..... very reflective of the songs on the CD and help yo to get some visual association to the songs.....

| Love it...actually one of the reasons I'd go and buy the CD - I want the album art. I don't like it when the artists will put in a dinky little flap in there however...i mean come on put some effort into it! :whip: |
