hey does anyone know where i can find a mini midi to regular midi adapter (preferably in a cable)
my setup is: creative audigy 2 zs platinum sound card which has mini midi in and mini midi out jacks on it, but im trying to connect a roland jp8000 to it (which only has a regular large 5-pin midi in and out) |

i thought they came with the converters? bit cheeky that they dont!
i would of though creative would be able to suply you with some, or better yet the place you bought the card from!
if the place you bought the card from doesnt have them, then thats the stupidest things ive ever heard of. the midi ports are useless with out them. |

Mini midi? What the hell is that? is it a scaled down version of a midi plug? How common is it? Can't say I've ever heard of it before, but yeah if some manufacturer is offering a product that requires some sort of connection, it should definately come packaged with the product, if not thats a scam. |

Can't really help ya there, I would think there would be a recieve type comand. Dunno. Check the manual, if you don't have it, should be able to get it off the web somewhere. |
