If you've ever worked a night shift job, you know they only pay you more because working night shift sucks so badly and s up everything in your life. It's sort of compensation pay. |

Its called a shift Diff and at most places you get that if your full time job works you to or past 9pm. You get the shift diff for your whole shift too. I used to work 1 to 9 in my office and got the shift diff was great! Its not just for over night. |

Well no I haven't worked night shifts yet. But then again I'm more focused on trying to get my economic university degree :D
But I have absolutely no problem with working these kind of jobs in between, just to gain some experience on different fields. At the moment I work as a dishwasher in a restaurant, and in a depot preparing pallets. I'd like to work this summer as a security guard, but I'm not sure yet because I need to do a 2 weeks training first. If that fails, I've also applied to a bank :D |

Hmm, they don't do that here.
You only get a bonus for the hours you work during an overnight shift. I worked night shift for 3 months, and I don't think I would EVER in a million years do that again. |

Yeah i remember that...it sucked :(
I used to get extra pay for working after 6 or 7pm also...it was bomb.com...it made minumum wage not feel like minimum wage. |

a friend of mine used to work the night shift. he'd have to go to work at like 11 and wouldnt get home until 9 in the morning or some. i dont think he ever slept, he'd always be chilling with us, every day, during the day. it was weird. then he got fired, so he works the day shift now. |
