indeed a great track :P to bad its just a 96 kbps:) the melody is not my fav, but I actually enjoy the whole atmosphere in it more.
Love your "acid" sounding sounds. Feels like I`m on this iron factory. Like said before, think of your kick! deepen it more. more punch. like jon said (static) to thin, and click on it!

When I hear this tune two words come to mind: 1.chaos : the build up is chaotic, just a bunch of sounds strung together without a real good hook of a melody leading us into the break. and 2.forgettable/expandable: I have heard your tune already 5 times and I can not even begin to remember the melody or the hook of the track.
It is nice you have got all these great sounds going on , and u do know how to produce, but when there is not really a melody that will stick it is just that: a bunch of nice sounds strung together. At the end of the day trance has always been a simple recepy: get a good hook going whether it is 4, 8 or 16 bars does not matter. But this is a track that is just pretentious and over the top, using all sorts of fx and stuff and sounding very well productionwise but forgetting what trance is/was all about: the hook!
Only really good thing in this track is your breakdown, there it seems like we got something going on. But then you start this weird forgetable chordprogession of the lead and I lose intrest within a couple of seconds. And I can only concur, the kick is weak.
I have heard better from you mate. Although melodymaking really is not your strongest point im.o.

wtf, 96 kbps !! I think most people here prefer hearing a 192k clip than the full 96k :conf:
production sounds really good here, i like the sounds alot. the percussions and your growly FX are top notch. Can't tell much about the mixing since i can't hear it, but it seems good :) the pads in the breakdown are ace too.
Melody-wize, it's quite different from the usual stuff, and I like it. I do think something about the main part could be more massive and memorable.
Overall, really impressed by your sounds. I don't think you will have problems getting it signed. |
