I really don`t know what to say. If it`s good or bad.

ye he will be there on 29 of march, my friend told me he will be at vinyl on 15 of feb. So I e-mailed marcus and this is what how he replied.

| Now I must say that SF is not the ideal venue! But who gives a frick! It's PvD!! And he's coming back....I mean I thought he would hold out for the Phazon...and a decent venue...why else would it take him sooo long to come back to NyC...SF has been there all this time!! Strange...but either way I'll be there shaking my ass in the place that got me started in the night life here in NyC! Woooo Hoooo!! :D ;) :) :p |

Hey Kelly, I guess eventually I will end up going cause it would be a year since he last was in New York. I hate Sound Factory with a passion though. I dont think im too good for that place cause that crowd think's they're the ones better then everyone, haven't you heard their famous line - Sound Factory "Come back when your pretty."
I have a feeling if Pvd goes there he's gonna want to never come back there again.
I say we start a movement. Try and get Twilo to open up again and be just the way it was.

Dennis you dont what kind of a show this guy is going to put on @ SF, he knows how much NY loves him and is waiting for his comeback. Paul will rip Soundfactory apart and any where he will be in NY he will bring his twilo crowd. And here i got another e-mail from his manager.

thanks for your mail. I have no idea or wasnīt contacted from Glowbana. A good thing about Soundfactory is that they donīt have Friday Nights at the moment so we will have a 100%
Paul van Dyk crowd.
We are talking to the promoter to have additional sound on all floors to avoid a packed 1st floor.

Obviously, Soundfactory is not really a crowd known for their "acceptance" and sobreity, but the point is van Dyk is Finally coming back to NYC and if you are truly a van Dyk fan, you will come and represent with a passion for the music rather than worrying about the venue..im hoping to be surrounded by van Dyk lovers like myself and just simply block out the fact that im not standing under the mirrorball in Twilo.....with some effort, we can push those juiceheads aside, even though they did begin to appear at Twilo as well....
I definitely hope he plays a long set, I have gone to see him in DC and Boston ever since the closing of Twilo, and it just seemed like it wasnt long enough..i think New Yorkers deserve at least 6 hrs.... |
