Oh I know you did, but I only just realized you lived so close, more trance producers in the neighbourhood it seems ;)
I've yet to decide what I'm doing next year at York.. I have everything planned out for after I get my first degree, but it's the first degree that's bothering me (as it is I've applied for an undecided major).
Edit: Wait question.. are you the same Armas that produced Angels & Demons :conf: |
No i'm not that Armas ... lol I have a feeling i'm going to be asked that alot on these forums *sigh* |

Ahaha don't worry, at least in this section people will get used to it (perhaps not other ones). I listened to the production and overall it's nice, the melodies are pretty decent, but it could use some work, and the kick's really generic. I think you're heading off in a pretty good direction though, I wouldn't mind playing with what you've started myself to see if it can go somewhere -- but that's for PMs; not threadjacking this ;) |

I can't see why not ... but why not just start the same deal at UFT if they don't already have one? That way it reaches out to more people than just the students at York, and maybe other's will follow suit, and it'll make it easier to do gigs and whatnot :) |

Yea, seriously, where have all you York people been. I walk around like a dumbass bobbing my head to tunes and everyone is looking at me funny.
EMSAY should find some office space, now that would be awesome. |

if you're at YORKU or Seneca@York... you're invited to joining EMSAY!!!
check the website www.emsay.ca ... everything's there. We recently were asked to bring music to the open-house (March Gala), and surprisingly they loved us and wanna bring us back for other events in the future.
as a side-plug... www.revolutionraio.tk is a radio show that dj_endgame and I do on friday nights from S@Y studios. It's an internet live broadcast, and usually house/prog/trance/etc. Sometimes we have guests too, like Matt Marshall, who's already had 2 shows with us and it was loads of fun!
But yea once EMSAY gets its roots dug into yorkU's soil, along with club member numbers and support, there will be alot more pull over the masses on campus, which I'm sure most of you realize is dominated by (c)rap music/hip-hop, etc.
As for an EMSAY pub night.... it's in the works... have no fear.
Oh and in fact... "supernova_girl" here on TA is the EMSAY president this year! |

EMSAY was lined up for a pub night at Underground awhile back... dunno whatever happened to that... all I know is, Underground didn't want to turn over control of the music tonight... which is ridiculous. |
This will change...I mean they cannot possibly play one style of music CONSTANTLY week in week out.;) Pub nights were so much better when I was there, more variety, trancey stuff, housier stuff, even some jungle thrown in. Whatever happened to Semiotic @ Underground? |
