hey can someone please tell me how i can let my jp8000 communicate with the computeR? im using the roland library program, that little applet that lets u send and receive patches and performances...so ya, i have the midi in/out connections correctly connected, the only thing is...when i click SEND in the program to send the manual schelis vengeance xplorations vol 1 patch bank to the jp, it shows its sending all those patches, like it lists the names one by one and it even says completed after, but nothing gets added to my jp...is there lets say a driver or something i have to install first on the comp or something to enable receiving on the jp? (i set all those tx/rx option stuff on the jp to enable and one of em is the BANK SEL + PC) what else needs to be done? im having a hard time figuring this out and the manual doesnt explain it either :-( |

In the WinJpLib window, go to the Setup menu and select MIDI Setup...
Once there, make sure your MIDI In and MIDI Out settings are set according to your MIDI interface.
Things should send and receive easier now. |
