| Loving this, off their new album this thread should actually be about it which is called Higher State. |

Dallas Superstars' new album "Higher State" is a double cd containing radio edits and four videos on cd1 and long versions for DJ use on cd2.
"Fine Day" and "Higher" will be the first two single releases off the new album and they have already caused a positive stir abroad. Many deejays have been hunting down "Higher" even before its' release and Paul Van Dyk insisted on having it on his own compilation, Politics of Dancing.
With this album you will be travelling in the heaven of club music with Jaakko and Heikki as your deejays! The musical style is a mixture of today's house and trance with influences from the techno-boom in the beginning of the 90's. |
So Higher should be available someday on Vinyl too ;)
btw. is this album already available + can i purchase it digitally (can't check right now)?
I've already checked Amazon.de, .co.uk, .com, Web-Records.com, deejay.de and 4djsonly.com and couldn't find anything, so i suppose it isn't out yet?
btw. Higher is a massive tune - when i first heard it about one year ago, i thought it's a Nu Nrg tune, it just had the energy I know from nu nrg. I don't like PvD's Edit/Rework (see TPOD2) that much tho |

| Higher and Subliminal are good tracks. I hope they will be released on vinyl. |

Not really a fan of their stuff, never been. Production wise they are good but that's where the good points end IMO. They have good ideas but could have made them a bit differently to make the tracks live longer.

The album was released here in Finland last week and other Scandinavian countries a few days ago but apparently haven't seen a release elsewhere yet. |

| I love Higher. I heard it first time last september. Sounds very good. From "Higher State" I like especially Subliminal and The Future. |

Do you know any shop where I can get it?
I just tried the Shop link at dallassuperstars.com, they don't have it either :( |

One place would be HERE but i think it won't be too cheap for you so i recommend to wait for a full release in Europe unless you just want to get it no matter what it costs.. |

Well, i would like to play Higher at my next gig, which will be on 7th of April - do you by any chance know the release date for the rest of Europe?

The price is ok, as it's 2 cds - i think what will be costy is the shipment, since i live in Germany |

I'm not sure of the official date as i haven't been following the local release schedules in a long time but at least a vinyl with Slusnik Luna vs. Lowlands - Last Train To Trancentral / Beatpusher - RHT (Dallas Superstars Remix) was planned to be put out sometimes during this spring. No idea about Revolution yet. |

That on TPOD2 was some PvD Rework/Remix/Edit/Whatever
The sample on dallassuperstars.com even has vocals (:conf: ), but i hope they are not in the extended version, tho they weren't that annoying |
