healthy looking girls ftw...whether that be 'light' or NATURALLY tanned.
girls with red/blonde hair look fine being pale (just as long as their not glow-in-the-dark) and girls that have darker complexions look great also. and nothing beats a cute little summer tan. but i HATE HATE HATE tanorexic people, i don't know who they're kidding, but it doesn't look good. being 60 and having leather for skin...FTL. |

OK, I am ghostly white, and I am not ashamed to admit it.
As much as I don't really enjoy "glowing" when I am on the beach in a bikini, I accept that I am pale, and have tried my best to embrace it.
I have had people tell me they love my skin because I look like a "porcelain doll", or that my skin is a beautiful "ivory" colour. Some like it, some don't. Whatever, it's preference.
It comes down to the fact that people with really white skin, or dark skin on the other hand, cannot help that they were born with that colour. There is little that most of us can do to change it, and I think it shallow and unfair for people to think it is "ugly", or "gross". It is "different".
So, because I am Irish, and my background constitutes my skin colour being a ghost white, I should cover my legs up? That is stupid. |
