I take recreational drugs. I certainly don't need drugs to have an awesome time at a trance night, i'm there for the music and that reason alone but ecstasy makes the experience even better. If you get a decent pill your whole body seems to be 'in tune' with the music, your emotions are completely affected by it.
Another point; since trance isn't exactly the most popular genre of music in england you're only really likely to meet like minded people at trance events. Ecstasy makes it much easier. You become very open to talking to complete strangers, in the space of 10mins you can go from letting someone take a sip of your water bottle to feeling like his/her best friend.
The thing i don't like about ecstacy+trance is random chav type people turning up at trance nights thinking it'll be a 'larf' to take drugs and get ed. They usually act like complete twats

Nobody has to take E when they go to a party. I certainly don't need it to enjoy the music. That said.... why not take it. I mean really.... E is the bacon and cheese of drugs, everything is better with bacon and cheese! Sure I could have a burger but why settle for a burger when you can have a bacon cheese burger. At least that's how I see it. |
