What great songs do you know with vocoded lyrics?

so thats the term for those kind of vocals. very cool. so they are vocals that are programmed with some kind of vocal producing synthesizer? not only able to produce particular words but also keys? that seems like a very interesting avenue for exploration. it seems that you could improve such software (or hardware?) to produce more human sounding vocals. would be nice for producers to not have to deal with snobby singers. :p
anyways..
i don't have any i can think of atm. lol |

You still need an actual person to sing vocals if you are using a vocoder. I don't know exactly how it works, but it's kind of like running vocals through a synthesizer. |

not always. all you need is 2 signals. the carrier and the effector.
ive heard human sounding vocals come out of nothing but a sine wave and a gate. |
