| Is it just me or are trances tunes in rut these days. Don't get me wrong there are some great tunes out that make me wanna throw my ing hands in the air and dance like a teen girl, but for the most part I have had trouble finding current trance tracks to mix with. Tracks lately have had me dozing off rather then throwing my hands in the air. To me it just seems like producers are trying to tie in to much with there productions. Believe me im not trying to bash producers at all. I guess I miss the late 90's and 2000 tracks. Anyways how do you feel about trance at the moment?? |

| I though about producing a few tracks , but honestly I'd rather spend my free time (which isnt much) behind the decks playin' records |

Right so don't complain if you are not willing to contribute to electronic music
and turn your feelings, thoughts and emotions into music.
Producers these days have evolved past the shallow mid-90's supersaw anthems. |

| First of all I'm not complaining. Im expressing my opinions about trance these days. I just wanted feedback on what others opinions were. And another thing, who are you to judge what I do for electronic music. For one I DJ when I'm not working. If it werent for the DJ's who the hell would play the tracks the producers develop. Like I said before It's nothing against producers, It just seems trance is taking a different direction then what it was in the past. I know all genres evolve, but trance seems to be becoming less throw your hand in the air because it such a good tune. Once again this is my opinion. Basically what im saying is that i've heard more and more trance lately that doesn't cantch my attention and make me wanna dance. |

well all i gotta say is u havent been searching enough for good toones... if u spend time and actually look around you will find tons of "throw ur hand up in the air" songs...
try these sites:
Dancerecords.com
AudioJelly.com
You can spend entire days on those sites and not even listen to most of the songs on there. Like I said all u gotta do is look around more. |

No they haven't, that's exactly the problem. Every kid can make a supersaw anthem in a couple of hours these days... and that's what they keep doing over and over again. |

As the genre gets more popular you'll see more and more questionable tracks out there. Just keep searching and you'll find some good stuff.
I loved some of 2000 stuff too, but a lot of the new stuff is pretty damn good too. |
