Hey!

Some of you might know me already, I am a TOTA, and a huge COR whore.

Anyway, I may be moving to Australia in August, more specifically Beaumaris, 20 minutes away from Melbourne. I am really excited, and would love to become part of the Trance scene there once I come.

I would also love it if anyone could give me any information. Is anyone familiar with Beaumaris? What is it like? Lots to do? How is the trance scene there anyway? What kind of weather should I expect through the year?

Any general info you can offer would be appreciated!

Thanks! :D

beaumaris is right on the coast, dont expect to just be able to cross the road and go swimming though (although you could, maybe, but even then, you wouldnt... you'll see what i mean when you get there...), you'll have to go a *lil* further down, thankfully not too far - still walkable tho! :) never the less, AWESOME location for the summer! too bad you're not here already to make the most of it!

Why wouldn't I want to go swimming, and why couldn't I?

Is it on a cliff or something?

rocks, cliffs, n other s around there.. but it's still walking distance to some niceeee beach :)

edit: but nothing to worry about, it's a REALLY good location... VERY close to some good beach and yeah, it's not too far from the city either
really, the only problem is, you should've been here the last 4 months to enjoy the summer :P, cos it's just finishing up now (it's been a perfect weekend - low 30's C, perfect for beach! :D)!! hopefully you'll still be here for next summer
if you like beach, then you'll probably absolutely love where you're gonna be :P

Yeah Beaumaris or "Bowie" (Aussies abbreviate everything so get used to it.. part of the laid-back attitude) is a really nice suburb it's far away enough to be close to some pleasant beaches but not so far away that it's a hassle to go out.
