Ummmmmmmmm ok so basically I heard the best music of the month of March last night. I didn't make it for Miguel :( It was my 1st time seeing Creator and OMGGGGGGGGGG dude, you blew my mind. Your basslines are insane, I love watching you mix, and I can't believe I've waited all this time to see you! You'll be seeing more of me at your nights :) It was nice chatting with you too, very interesting and helpful to hear your points of view on the scene, your place in it and where you think it is going. Above all, you know who are musically, and this really shone in your set last night, so thank you very much :):)
I didn't catch much of Louis' set after Dan last weekend but from what I hear, last night was a good indication of what he layed down for those speakers. Your style has progressed and I told you this last night, I LOVE WHAT YOU'RE DOING :D Thank you for Say What You Want and for 6pm...and for the track (6pm) itself ;) Much appreciated, it just happens to be my favourite right now...You were awesome dude, not alot of energy :p but your musak was banggggiiinnngggg!!!

Although it was a local night, i still had my fun.
Creator; First time i've seen him, enjoyed how he maintained the groove throughout, I dont think there was ever one record that didnt compliment the one after. Great set progamming and beatmixing!
Louis; I would've stayed throughout, but I got too tired, what can I say I reckon most people do at around 8 am. Went back home inspired to mix a bit, just to find out my building had a power cut lol. Anyways, keep them beats thumpin! |

Yes, this is when I discovered Creator's greatness. He was the second best DJ of that night, and from then on I knew that he stood near the very top of ARIA residents.
Now Saturday night was very good, essentially I was there for Creator. I missed most of Graca's set but as per usual, I heard the last half hour and I'll keep on saying this: it's amazing how he keeps standing out from the rest with his unique style, except it doesn't quite do it for me musically.
Creator on the other hand, was banging from start to finish. The line between prog and techno was blurred by darkness and I loved every second of it. ( obligatory :eyespop: ) Great job and I am looking forward to more Creator nights in the near future. Thank you for spinning that crazy remix of Smack My Bitch Up, it made me reminisce like never before! :)
Louis; I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer for your set, I left after you dropped your third track, but I was extremely exhausted and if I hadn't have left when I did, I would of fallen asleep on the dancefloor!! :haha:
Your beginning was nice I must say, you played a track (the third one I think) that was CRAZY and connected with Creator's set in hardness.
Keep at it man, your on the right track! :D

To be honest I wish I could have given you even more of myslef and be better last Saturday, but i was tired out of my mind... My car got smashed (hit and run) just when I was suppose to sleep and get some rest for Aria, and finally didn't slept for 2 days in a row.
So big thanks to Louis that came on 1/2 hour before, I wasn't feeling so good at the end. He always impresses me more and more each time.
i'm really glad you enjoyed it, wasn't sure I made a decent performance, so i'm glad to hear this. And thank you once again for this great vibe you are always giving me. I just love playing at Aria. |

gd all this talk about aria just makes me crave it more, damn u montreal residents!! I admit I count the days to the next time I'm up, at least I'm not counting the hours...
