Why do you want another keyboard? As for synths, it's generally a good idea to check out sound demos.

There's demos for some of the most popular ones. If you like the JP 80X0 sound best, then go ahead and buy it (if you find one). |

There's a lot of synth-sites in the web, in most of them you can check pics, but the better ones are those fan or owner sites because usually there's some samples and recordings that can help you finding out if that synth suits your taste and needs. It's awesome how some not so popular keyboards sound! But the most important part is how are you gonna use it, let's say if you work mostly programing virtual synths then go for somenthing new (well i mean no older than 3 years). If you're into retro, then go for a classic synth. If you want a master keyboard (good ones for live performance instead of pc) check synths that can work as controllers.
Get some magazines about music production hardware, once you find something interesting look for at a store, so you can check it by yourself. |

Anyone have any sound samples of the Roland XV88, Roland Fantom-X8, or the Korg Karma and Triton Series??? |
