i re-made this track and mastered it imo quite well... just wanted your opinion, i got rid of the vocals and the strange sound levels are gone to. its extended and has a lot of different fx to. hope its ok..

yo mate,
on question before commenting, is this a remix or a remake? sounds like you used samples? i know very much of the older trance stuff bcause im listening to trance music for about 10 years now but i have to admit that i didn't heard the original of this one.
im listening and commenting as we speak.
i love the strings in the intro, they kinda touch me abit, realy remember me of the older trance stuff.
the bassline you introduce at 0.40 is awesome. its not to prominent but has a very solid sound, superb.
dont like the sequence you introduce around 1:00. cannot say why but its disturbing me abit.
drums are great!
3.30 yep, you definitely used samples: transition sounds bad.
actualy you got some bad sounding transitions during the end of the track.
dont know how much you've done on this but it sounds pretty much like just using samples, it's a pity.
mastering sounds pretty good.
will definitely look for the original.

The way bass is introduced is really good.. also sounds fine with pads(strings)

I think u have used flanger in between which does not suit at all.. some
how does not go with the flow IMO :sadgreen:
also.. some bad transitions in between.:whip:
Mastering and energy flow is cool.

Hi mate,
I don't know the original, but this remake has some interesting ideas.
The bassline is cool, the percs are simple but effective I'd say, I'm not liking the filtered strings, the same you've used since the start of the track, they are all pretty much the same throughout the track, basically because those are the only ones you used for the background of your track, so it makes it boring, I'd say the whole track is boring, no significant changes (if none at all) in the track, is like it has been looped over and over, sry, but that is what I think.
The psy-kind of leads are cool, shame you just made one sequence with them.
As for the overall sound, it is decent, but far far from being "mastered". The kicks needs more gain IMO.
And yes, it seems all you used was loops. Not very creative this track really.
But keep making tracks, you'll make better tracks than this in the future for sure.

hey guys i want to thank you all for the great reviews.. appreciate it:) this track was originally created by me, however the original was very bad the the mastering to, i decided to remake the track. the track is made with samples, as someone commented about the kick that it has to be more straight forward is a nice idea ill try and make the kick more harder when i get home:) the leads maybe i have to change some effects... thanks for the replies guys!:) |
