M-Audio Delta 44 Problem

so i got the delta 44 and i pl;ug my amp/reciever into the breakout out box. and i only get one side going.. its not mono.. its stereo but just the left side..
so i take the same cable and plug it into the onboard card and it works fine.
any tips? i went into my computers device manager and disable onboard sound card... still no luck
any tips? |

Have you had a look at the card's options. In the bottom right hand corner of your screen should be an "M" icon which takes you to all the options for the card. Make sure you are running out the right audio path and that you haven't got something muted. |

That would be because the delta 44 (like 95% of most prosumer/professional sound cards) has balanced mono inputs and outputs. If you want stereo in, you'll need to get a stereo -> 2x mono 1/4" adapter. |
