This is a pretty major issue so i thought it deserved its own thread instead of abandoning it to the troll-ridden palestine/israel one.
Can the Psy-t, yoepus, and other israelis give us their views on the major contenders for the election, i've read that Kadima is the projected winner but low voter turnout (perhaps due to disillusionment of moderates?) could hurt their standing and increase the power of the more ideological / extreme fringe parties. Can you also explain the major difference between Kadima and Likud?
no flaming please. |

| disengage. do it now. |

| Kadima could be compared to Republicans that have taken a huge risk and splintered from the GOP (Likud), into a reformist, psuedo-libertarian Gaza isolationists. apparently the risk has paid off for them in the short term and now coalition building can begin. |

Apparantly they also have hot supporters:

:eyespop: :eyespop:
BTW they also have many left-wingers in the party. Withdrawal itself is arguably a defeatist policy. |

i've never been too interested in politics around me, but i could translate any of the summaries of the various parties if you'd like.
i gave my vote for hets btw. |

so far it seems kadima has won, but the last time i saw it, they have only counted 12% of the votes.
the election won't be concluded yet, because "some drunks have burned down their local kalfy" in some village of 250 potential voters, or something like that, and that village will hold a re-election. |

can you tell us about all the club kids in Tel Aviv actually making a difference for the Pensioners party? was it a joke or were they serious about reform? |

as i said earlier, my interest in politics in israel is purely superficial. i only exposed myself to the most minimal information about it i could get... |

| Sorry, I would not vote for a party that would give away Judea and Samaria for nothing. |

| kadima won, the geezers party is the big surprise in this election haha. nothing seems to be mentioned about the green leaf party... the labour party also did well. unfortunately shas is the 3rd largest party :( |
