Good Day Folks, I would first like to thank all the kind people in Calgary who took care of me last weekend. I went out West to hear D.A.V.E. The Drummer @ the newly renovated Warehouse and remind folks that there is still a great source for vinyl (and soon digital) still in Canada. Despite our patriotism in hockey, you have to work hard to get Canadians to not order from the UK these days. The club definitely went off to some sweet sounds and a great deal of music that has been or will be available at 2 The Beat (so it did not feel like I was far from home). The renos made the club 100% better than it was. I highly recommend checking the Warehouse out if you are in Calgary. I know that in 2 weeks they have Chris Liberator and Richard Humpty Vission. Definitely worth a visit.

Many DJs have been sending me links to their latest sets or mixes. In particular, I received a couple really good techno mixes this week that I would like to share with you. Two of the nicest guys in Canadian techno who have never met but have similar sounds have been kind enough to send mixes to me over the weekend with full track listings. When I have the space and the time, I am happy to share. I will unquestionably support banging techno mixes over everything since banging techno is barely supported by other people these days so it is my duty. The upside is you get something free and fun to enjoy from DJ Anx and DJ Jace.

Finally, I just have to say that WestJet (westjet.ca) is the BEST airline I have ever flown on anywhere on the four continents I have traveled through. Not just because of their egalitarian nature with EVERY seat having in-seat satellite TV, every seat being leather and comfortable. Rather, because their staff actually seems to care about the people that fly with them, unlike companies like Air Canada where you appear to be in their way. I will now use them as my first option when flying within Canada.
