Does anyone have advice on a small portable midi keyboard that could be used with a laptop on the go in lets say an airplane?

M-Audio has heaps of mini/portable keyboards, some that are even audio interfaces aswell.

AFter search to answer my own question I ran across a great keyboard that is less that 3lbs and can be powered by AC, USB and BATTERIES!! That means youc an travel on the plane using batteries and not use the power from your laptop. This bad boy is called a PCR-M1: USB MIDI Keyboard Controller by Edirol . . . So I think I figured out a good one to say the least.

I'm currently looking at the M-audio O2 MIDI Controller as a solution to my need for a midi keyboard and a midi controller all-in one. Its modulation and pitch wheel didn't sound too great in the review I read, but it would do what I needed it to, is small, and can run off USB power.

i have it...dont recommend it
mine broke after a few months......i had a thread about it awhile ago, but basically the first third of the keys plays fine, while the rest of them have to be pressed quick and hard to play sounds on a sequencer
for some reason though..it works fine with FL4...FL5 and reason give the problem |

Sounds like a problem with the velocity settings.
