Well I didn't see too much tonight to convince me that Danny Howells isn't the best DJ in the world. I mean, have you ever seen someone throw so many genres together and make it work the entire time? Havce you ever seen anyone drop Joris Voorn (I'm taking Gerry's word for this) and Adam Beyer in the middle of what was basically a (very banging) house set? Have you ever seen someone play for four hours without losing the crowd once?

I can't dance (thanks for trying though, Liz and Vi) but if I could I would have been cutting that place up something shocking. That was an amazing set, way better than the set he played last year, and must be close to the best set I've seen since his 2003 set. I'm struggling to think of something clever to close this post with, so it - he was awesome. That's all I wanted to say.

Have you ever seen someone post on this forum long after they should have gone to bed?

Sorry, hopefully I'll make more sense tomorrow.

yeah, thats a positive, he dropped 'Joris Voorn - Mpx309' which was Joris Voorn's encore track at Digital. Hearing someone like Danny Howells drop a track which normally would be in the domain of tek DJs is such a fitting demonstration on how ecletic and impeccable taste of music this guy have.

He dropped 'Adam Beyer - A Walking Contradiction' too :) and some of the tracks he played towards the end had a certain percussive tip to it, much to my delight :D

Had a great night! he's up there with pappa for one of the best prog set i saw this year yet! glad i decided to go at the last minute! :toothless
