The Move Crew have recently found itself a new pad to play and it’s time that all you cheeky monkeys came down to scope it out for yourselves. KALEIDO is a fresh new bar that sits on the shoulder of Melbourne Central, one floor up above Elizabeth St.
From outside, Kaleido looks something like a two-level glass box. On the inside? Daaaamn, where do you start….. The money shot of this place is without doubt its city skyline view and at a close second would have to be its shmick curved glass bar that is ever changing through a stack of different colours.
Three private booths buddy up with a well laid out dance floor at one end whilst our very own intimate lounge room complete with widescreen TV sits up the other. The icing on the cake with this place is its ‘phat’ Nexo sound system that will ensure quality lubrication for your ears whilst your ass is get’n on down. Ain’t no monkey on the back of this bar, just a tight space that’ll have you swing’n from the rafters in no time!.

On the decks this month JONRAH makes his debut appearance in the Mainroom along side ERIC ST and DAVE MAC. CB FIELD & EZRA will be there as well to performing their “Live Jam”. Duel DJs complete with Sax & Drums. All in all we’ll be lay’d down our trademark Funky Electro and Party Breaks to build the night to a rocking finale in the main upstairs, while an array of groove’n rolling beats can be heard in the comfy surroundings of downstairs.

Soo many great things about it that will add to the night when we do our thing once a month.
Theres an awesome lounge/chillout room with a widescreen TV, a kick arse Nexo sound system (loud and clean), awesome city views and a sizeable dance floor which we never really had b4.
Im teaming up with Ezra (from Bimbo Deluxe) this month going back to back doing our 'Live Jam'. We'll have Caine on Sax and Mitch on drums. Funky, party and rocking. Def going to be one of the spectacles on the night

Move nights are a whole stack of fun.. they definately have a different vibe compared to alot of the stuff that is posted on here, so if you feel like somethiong different, i would definately suggest attending..

Friday went down as one of the best nights on track. Launching the new venue couldn't have kicked off in better style!
Upstairs was more packed than 'Mick's mums Mmm Mmm Meatloaf' and stayed that way for a good part of the night.
Live Jam'n with Ezra, Caine and Mitch went down a treat. Will def. be putting this sort of together again some time soon. Whole lot'a funk that kept the party roll'n on. Jonrah played the perfect warm up set (noticed a few tracks dropped from his 6M2N promo ;o) and Eric smashed it up good and propper jus b4 me and Ezz jumped on.
