lol... thats what i think happened to my hdj 1000's.... wonder where you can order these from if it happens to me again
Pinokio
no sense to buy that, they will be broken again.

you better get this product

http://www.pcepoxy.com/pastepoxy.asp

PC-11 is white, and PC-7 is grey

I used PC-7 because that's the oclor that looks more laike the HDJ-1000, they got broken, and after I paste it witht his product, it's even more tight and hard now, so I don't think it will be broken again.

Hummm I don't really know what to make of the fact these are being sold... Pioneer must know thats where the cans are faulty because its the only replacement part I have seen them trying to push out...

So there making more money off something they know is a lesser product and if they broke the first time... Who is to say replacing them with the exact same part will make them any better?

Anyway speaking of cans... Has anyone had a play on the denon DNHP1000's yet? Or know what there like for sound quality... I was thinking about grabbing a pair.

^^ i just thought that when the hangers broke, people threw the headphones away.

dont bother with denon, tested it and it doesnt sound as good as the rpdh or the hdj.
Timski
ahh fair enough... I dig on the larger swivel style cans so i can rest them on the shoulders... Hence why i wanted to check out the denon...

i just used superglue on my hdjs.... have been holding up since, no problems... no way in hell i'm tossing a pair of $100 cans just because the plastic snapped.

^^i had the hdj and it was under warranty. broke it a few weeks ago, returned it and never got a new one yet but i bought a rpdh in replacement and planning to sell the hdj in brand new package.

i havent seen the hdj going no less than 160$.

i dont think superglue will hold it, but the other thing the previous poster suggested might. i mean the place where you superglued is usually bent because of the way you are maneuvering the cup to your ear. nothing will be like brand new i guess but pioneer is so dumb to have that place that thin(you broke it and seen how think the plastic is, duh its going to break)

the only thing i like about pioneer is the stereo/mono switch, the fact thats its light and easy to maneuver.
