I think its because she has more presense then Joanie did...
Joanie was still too insecure about her smile which really held her back I think...
also Danielle was much more personable then Joanie was with the judges... Joanie was very quiet and not too energetic with the judges which has proved to be a definate must with the competition...
I think either one would have definately be worthy of the title... but I had always gone for Danielle since the begining of the show... she was the realest girl in there and she would definately be someone I think girls could look up to...
plus her skin is FLAWLESS and radient.. just like a Covergirl..

wtf canada`s next top model girls don`t see like model material... i dunno if it`s just those photos or what, but man, they do NOT look like models.
My sister was going to audition, but she didn`t have time. Maybe next year. She`d be good for it |

too bad the canadian girls are meh, especially considering canadian models are everywhere right now.
then again, they didn't need to go on a reality tv show to get where they are. ;)
and what is up with tricia helfer hosting? i mean, i know someone like linda evangelista wouldn't do it, but i dunno...surely they could have found someone better! |

I agree....no one really stands out to me...not yet anyway.
I think Joanie should've won ANTM..her pics were way more versatile than Danielle's....she has one signature look (the judges even said so). But oh well....she IS a very beautiful girl...I would KILL for that skin! |

| Don't get me wrong, I love Danielle and thought she did deserve to win as well. She had amazing pictures, like Nikki said she had good presence and she seemed like a top model. I think this year was probably the toughest b/c both finalists had little to no flaws. It seemed to me that they had more to complain about with Danielle though in the end...yet she still won. To be honest I think what pushed her over the top was her skin colour - and well you know, Tyra being all black power - but even with that, I'm not disappointed with the results. She was still top model material. |

I'll have to disagree with ya Lease. I don't think there was a need for another black girl to win just b/c she's black... Had all the previous winners been white I would agree with you, but Naima and Eve were minorities. The show has somewhat showed that being different colour or race doesn't affect their chances of winning... |

Alright, alright I see what you're saying. Maybe I'm just being biased b/c I wanted Joanie to win so badly. But when Eva and especially Naima won...they were the one I wanted to win anyhow. |

I really wanted Joanie to win! But Danielle was just as good. Joanie will still make it somewhere l'm sure..
All l have to say is l'm glad JADES gone! .. shes all snapping her fingers on the way out. nobody liked her. LOL |
