I cant get any better unless someone tells me what im doing wrong. sometimes i can go back and listen to something and eventualy figure out what it needs, but it helps so much when i get feedback while im putting something together.

this one is very simple so far; 2 chords, bass, backing and melody.

all i need is automation and some effects i think.

simple (small file)

thanks

ok.. I dont know what kind of style your trying to produce.. this can be anything..so I cant really give you straightforward advice but to be honest I just got out of "your fase" im quite new too.. and its quite a step :).. anyway you should try not to use fruityloops standard sounds.. you know how to work the effects, just have a closer look in arrangement, and choosing sounds.. try vanguard demo's etc and soundpacks with oneshot sample's :) you can modfy them enough to make them "your own". youve got nice ideas in this track. keep it up!

Hi mate!
Wowww this reminds me of my old tunes.
first things first.
im gona be honest as well. this track need a lot of work. and I hear by the soundquality that your quite new to producing, to list whats missing is very long and i bet you will learn this as you keep producing. I can give you some help by listing some of whats missing here. Youv got a lead melody a kick drum some hats and a base melody. now whats mising is the Pads, strings, fx, snare, start whit adding this elements and then listen to other peapoles tunes and try adding different things. I wouldnt recomend you to start using reason or cubace at this point. what I would do if i was you would be to make short loops and try to make this loops sound good , when these sound good try to start aranging. when you master this and have experimented either keep using flp but whit new vst not the original sound, Or use reason or cubace.

But what you need to learn at this point is HOW to Build a good loop. How to use chords how to make a melody , and how to make good drumloops.

Keep it up and you will be producing pro trax in a few years.!

thanks mavve

this was a basic idea, and i think once i get going on it, the loops will stretch out to 8 or 16 measures, and the composition will change alot. right now im looking at suplimenting my tracks with "Pads, strings, fx, snare"
like you said.

hopefuly i can keep getting some good advice on what to do next from noob sensitive people like you guys!

wow, one has to be somewhat of a masochist for subject yourself to all this tedious work. this is challenging, but im NOT quitting!
