Venues for Weddings in NYC??

no not me but my brother is getting married and looking for a venue that is basically not your traditional wedding place.. ie like this place but bigger:
^ galapagos art space in williamsburg
low-lit, zen-like, etc, etc..
(needs to be bigger than 265 capacity)
any ideas? even just a space like a loft or something where we can cater the food would be just fine... |

| perfect space is the ALTMAN building... i played at an actual teen event there, a really hard thing to pull off considering its not a club, but we managed it somehow... do a google search, they have a site with plenty of pics, dont remember it tho |

| a friend got married at the Puck building a few months back (i also had my prom there many moons ago) and it's a cool space in a historic building [corner of houston/lafayette]. |
