where to get started

Post this in the Production Studio forum and your question will be answers. But I would recommend Ableton Live, even though i'm not a producer. I've heard lots of great things about it. Most people use Fruity Loops or even Reason to start off, but it's a little more complicated i've heard then Fruity Loops. But if you have the time to learn something like Reason or Ableton Live, then you should invest in it. See if you can get a demo first, you can get special promotions from it. The demo is like a tutorial so it will show you how to do everything, you just can't save your work. |

dont post it on the production studio section cause everyone will be mad at you and youll be flamed. read the master list on that page and the FAQ. plus do some research before asking cause just answering your question is not gonna make you learn lots of other things. but with research and all that, youll cover whatever you needed to know and whatever you needed to know that you didnt think about.
start with FL studio, dont jump to ableton or any sequencing/producing software. |
