All I know is that the roommates have been warned - one has already chosen to flee with another debating it, the house is open to all, and we're gonna be BBQing for a friend's birthday Friday night.
This is my last Memorial Day weekend living in Detroit for the Festival - I intened to have the most fun with all of my friends and hear some excellent tunes.
Thus far, Collette is at Bleu on 5/27 and I know Richie Hawtin has been booked for Saturday night but location unknown. There are also still the Armin rumors circulating and AK-1200 & DJ Dara are also booked for Detroit on 5/28. And those are just after parties. :)
The promoters are gonna announce shizzy as they get it but this is gonna be a massif whatever comes out of it. This is the one weekend I would absolutely prefer Detroit over any other city in the world - the surprise warehouse parties are SICK! |

So far it's just Jamie that says he wants to come. I have 2 spare bed rooms...and I have a single pull out couch, and a regular couch in the basement...as well as mats to put a sleeping bag or two on. If my parents say it's okay, I have another double bed pull out couch that someone can use.
So as of now Jenn you're definatly welcome. I'm not sure how much of it I'll be going to with work and all...but you guys are still welcome to stay here and we'll work some sort of schedule out so you're not locked out of the hosue! |

Ya - no need to cross back over a border if you want a place to crash. I'm 10 minutes north of downtown and I have plenty of crashspace - futons, couches, air mattress, etc.
And, besides, if you don't visit the Little Room at least once, you're truly missing out....;) |

This is one of the great things that goes on in the D.
Walking around downtown where there are hundreds of thousands of people (literally) all partying and having a good time.
Tons of afterparties, great talent everywhere and good vibes all over.
I highly recommend this weekend to anyone who can make it.
In the past they have gotten in upwards of 1 million people to attend over the three days.
The venue itself is a very cool venue.
Usually 4 stages are going from 12-12, with one huge mainstage, one underground stage and two other slightly smaller ones.
