| nice beat. The hi hats are a little off and distracting. Maybe redo them. The kick is good. It needs a little more motion. The filter work or fade is good. Maybe more filter. A flanger voice or phaser would be cool. The bass is kind of off. A little less oompah loompah would be fun. Good start. Maybe refine some details. |

percussive wise its awsome....don't have much variation to break up the groove at all...its to constant until the break....break up the beat a bit with kick cuts or something, or a weird techy sweep.
not crazy about the synth in the breakdown...sounds cheesey to me.
you also lose your kick when it kicks in again...it seems to be hiding behind the bassline somewhere.
really great track none the less...not enough variation for me reallyh though...and u got some colliding frequencies everywhere.
could be a great track though, i know it doesn't sound like it through my feedback but u got a great base with this track.
good luck! |

heheh, yeah it is actually a percussion-loop from nic chagall, its not something im going to use that much since im creating my own, its more a temporary thing but its going to be, well, just as progressive. funny you noticed :)
what im looking for is feedback on the track-theme, melody, progression, and the most important to me, the bassline and the tenshion at the break, im trying to make a break with very powerful bass.
No im not red lol, was kinda expecting someone would pick it up sooner or later when Monday Bar is a pretty new tune, should have just mentioned it from the beginning then, but hey.
Can i get some comments on those things i mentioned above i would be grateful, since nic has taken all my creds here :) |
