OK, basically whenever I burn a cd using mp3s off my computer, they always have skips etc. in them. Some songs its REALLY bad, some songs dont have it at all.
WTF?
Could it be my CD burner? or is it more likely to just be the mp3s?
I never had this problem on my old computer :S |

What software, cdrs and burner are you using?
Does it only happen with mp3s and not audio discs?
Mp3s will be more seseptable to skipping from scratching compared to audio cds because there is more data in less area.
Burning at slower speeds may help. |

"techworks" OEM cd-rs :P
I guess i just found the most likely reason hehe. It's funny how it only does it on some songs though? hmmm
Im using nero 7, and when i said burning mp3s i meant, mp3s on my hard drive to audio cds for use in my cdjs ;)
I'll try burning at like 8x or something laterz. |

By some songs do you mean that if you burn that song to 3cds on each one that song will mess up? Or just that on a cd certain songs will skip whilst others dont. If the second one then its just because the cd is stuffed in certain places and not in others. |

Don't use Nero 7, its a POS. If anything, use version 6.6 as the newest....even then, I still have issues with it. Try burning a song with WMP or WINAMP....bet it works....
I don't know what Ahead went and did with Nero, but its so unreliable now I can't stand it.....I want the old days of Nero 5 that was under 10 MB... |

cdrwin is the best to burn .cue files for audio tracks. I use Fireburner for data .cue files. |
