| Ive seen sasha 30 or soo times with vinyl/cd's 5 or so times with ableton.... And hes pretty much bored me to death with ableton... The first time he used it he kept using this damn annoying laser effect sound.... Thank god james zabiela was there to save it.... And when the tag teamed for the last 2 hours omg pure bliss.. |

Actually, he's in the process of building a new one. See page 2 of this article - http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dy...033000587.html.
Also, I don't think the controller can keep the computer on the table. |

who cares what happened to the maven at wmc when we're talking about three music stoppages or just reviewing sasha's set IN WASHINGTON DC.
it was not a maven-related problem therefore not relevant in this thread. if u still wanna talk about why u think the maven sucks, i'll just opt out of the discussion. i just wanted to point out that the reason sasha didn't continue on ableton was because of the whole computer falling down as noel sanger has said yesterday. |

Maven is a hell of alot better than most the "controllers" coming out like the xone 3d. The level of control he has over ableton with it is just not matched by anything else for sale. Computer based mixing on the whole is still really new...but you know this Harold.
Srsly...if I had maven...omg...cream my in pants material..
.you seen how many triggers he has on each side of the faders, the effects control he has? Try doin that with an x-session...pshs :p
I'll agree with frost that he over-uses the same effects alot...it gets really anoying :/ |

yeah he gets the nice monthly paycheck there & im sure he knows the place isn't that great...
I doubt he ever is like i feel like throwing down tonight. There really is no need esp since he knows hes back next month. |

i wasnt there but i'll blame glow's lighting guy for the iMac falling. he is always jumping around like hes some dj tiesto of the lighting controller |
