Trance to Me

When I listen to this music I feel secure, I get a sense of my true nature, a sense of my own mortality and get a firm grasp on my inner soul…it takes me places I have so desperatley waited for……places no drug and no love could or have ever taken me…it has brought a state of bliss and a state of peace……
In no other instance in my life I have ever experienced a form of music that could take me on a voyage from beginning to end and leave me wondering what may have have been, or what will come……I close my eyes and await the tingles and rush of chills as I go on this voyage, for each time feels like my first yet wont be my last…..
I am taken to a new place each and every time…places I so wish I could make into reality, but are so far fetched from a possibility, it would make the most inspirational poet quiver…for he couldn’t even write a poem to describe this place.
Tomorrow is not promised and today is my present…..without this music I would not anticipate the next day as I do now, or atleast not greet it with a soothing breath of fresh air and a stretch that can encompass my entire bed , as I would with it….
It brings me to a place where my heart tells a story and I find a hidden, yet leading path to love, life and glory……this is the place I set my dreams to gleam…..i feel invincible with nothing left to strife…..I never heard so sweet a sound, as that I listen to……my heart and soul have left there dwelling places…and can return no more…….
So now I will close my eyes and dream…………… |

kudos, a well-written description..
music is a part of my soul. each and every one of us has a soul which is pieced together with the fibers of hapiness - things we like, things we love, experiences, challenges, etc. music, trance mainly, forms most of what keeps me going. not that i am in a huge rut, waiting to get out, in fact, life has never been better for me. trance just acts as some sort of driving force, always on my mind, in plain sight. when its not "readily available" i hum, whistle, sing, whatever, just to keep it near. always on my mind, always near to my heart, i will never have a greater love.
like tiesto147's original post, there is no other for of music that can take you on a journey so filled with emotion. nothing else has the power over me such as trance with its soothing melodies, driving beats, and energetic breaks.
