What an amazing night! I just want to take this opportunity to say that Simon Jain is very, very, very good. That was the best Toronto resident set I've heard in recent memory. He could have just as easily gone up there and played all of the big party tunes that are always played in Toronto and the crowd would have loved it. Instead, he played a set in which more than half of the tracks I didn't recognize. The crowd still loved it!
Nice seeing you there Jen. I told Ryan that I wouldn't be surprised if I saw you there, and lo and behold, you were one of the first people I saw when I walked into the club.
The Pheonix crowd was awesome! The vibe in there was incredible. Everyone was just going nuts, and even though they had the lights on for the last 5 songs, no one wanted to leave.
I can see that www.2night.com throws fun parties, and I will be sure to check out more at the Pheonix in the future. |
