I didnt know which area to ask, but i guess this area comes close to my question. Anyways, i did a few mixes recording with acid pro 2.0 into wav format. When i play the file in winamp, it says, 14H kbps and 44 khz. Can someone explain to me what the 14H means? I know about 256kbps 192kbps, but what the heck is 14H?
Also for the 44kHz, does increasing that number mean better quality? And if so, how do record with a higher kHz?
Thank you. |

| I don't know about the bitrate thingy, but yes, when you would record with higher frequencies as 44.1khz you would theoretically get a better recording, but this is pretty pointless as CD quality is 44.1 khz. Anyways don't go down to 22khz cuz then you'll hear the difference. |
