I’m a firm believer in sounding out the letters like, TEE-OH-TEE-AYY
However she thinks it should be joined together like TOE-TAH

The abbreviation for "Toronto" is pronounced "Tee-Oh".
Therefore I think "Tee-Oh-Tee-Aye" is better-er. :D |

| I always say Tee-oh-tee-eh. Some of the other Tee-oh-tee-eh's make fun of me b/c they say Toe-ta...they're wrong...I'm right. End of story. |

exactly! based on the T-O (for toronto) it logically follows that TOTA is pronounced TEE-OH-TEE-AYY!!!!! those toe-tah people are wierd!

when we coined it, it was occasionally said as toe-ta but then generally was said t o t a...so we stuck with the latter..sounded better..lol |
