anybody know what make of headphones the top djs go for?
they must be good with all the wear and tear they are subject to on world tours |

| It really all comes down to personal preference. Sure, most of the "top" dj's may use Sony's but maybe Pioneers would sound better for you. Just go into a local music store and test a bunch out and see which ones suit you the best. :) |

All that is bollock, ive had them all Sony, Pioneer and compared to Sennheiser their . The best thing to do is to test yourself. But trust me go Sennheiser :D |

Ive had a pair of Koss that have lasted over 6 years. Ive had a few pairs that costed more but Id break them within a year. They arent the best but they dont suck.
They have all the features that appeal to me. Coiled cord, so Im not tripping over it. Adjustable volume in each ear so I can adjust to my comfort no matter the location of where Im spinning and speaker layout.
The sturdiest part is the metal to metal connection of the speakers and the headband. Thats where my others broke all the time. I can go to sleep with them on and not wake up with my headphones in pieces. |

| i've got my Pioneers as well, i really love it but after using them for bit they start to get uncomfortable! |

There are two Sony's most people use for DJing. The absolute crap 700's, and the really ing good 7506/V6.

If you want a headphone that'll guarantee blocking off all outside sound, get these ones. The earpieces on this thing is HUGE.
I like my Technic RP1200. Excellent ear support and quality sound. Pretty sturdy design. |

I have the Sony 7506...and while they dont block out all sound as well as some cans, I love them to death for their great sound quality, and most of all, they are super light and super comfortable...long sets are no problem :D |
